Mangal Nath temple is a famous Hindu temple, which is dedicated to Mahadeva (the destroyer). It is one of the highly admired temples in India. According to Matsya Purana, Mangal Nath Mandir is also considered the place where Mars (Mangala) is originated. Devotees from every corner of India come to visit Mangal Nath temple for puja. It is located in the holy city Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh at the banks of river Shipra. Mainly, the mandir is famous for Mangal dosh nirvaran puja or Mangal dosh puja or Mangal bhat puja or Bhat puja. The mandir is also known for astrological studies. 

It is said that the Bhat puja is performed for the people’s having Manglik dosha. The people with Manglik Kundli are advised to do Mangal bhat puja before marriage. It is believed that after performing all the rituals, the people get relief from the Manglik dosha.
